Ten years ago I was about to make a business trip to Japan with a junior colleague of mine. The meeting agenda was packed with many important topics, technical details, presentations, plant tours, social events etc. We wanted to get the most of our relatively short trip (7 days) and so we worked hard to prepare for it, including understanding the cultural aspects of doing business in Japan (very important!). So, I've called Lionel up and asked him for a brief coaching session over lunch in a local Japanese (of course!) restaurant. We've spent an amazing and extremely useful hour with Lionel discussing Japanese culture and business etiquette. Lionel was eloquent, passionate and most importantly right on the money with his assessment and advice. The trip was successful.

I've attended Lionel's "multicultaral perspectives" workshops on two separate occasions and was so impressed with his presentations that I invited him to speak at our conference. Sure enough... he garnered so much interest that he needed to be invited a second time! So often we attribute challenges in the workplace to "personality conflicts" when in some cases, they really are misunderstandings in values and misinterpretations of each other messages due to cross-cultural differences.

I recently attended Lionel's course on "Becoming a Successful Internationally Educated Professional in Canada" through APEGGA here in Calgary. My eyes were opened wider as to his prespectives about working in Canada and capitalizing on all diversity in the work place. I highly recommend this course for anyone in the technical professional realm as well as but not limited to recruiting. I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Thank you!

I attended Lionel's presentation in one of the Conferences arranged by ISAP Conference Organizers. Lionel is a great inspiration for someone like me who is just stepping into this industry. His input, knowledge, interpretation, and insight into the Employment industry specifically in case of internationally trained professional is impeccable.
